ARTISTIC ORDER

« These frescoes become portals to a world where light and matter intermingle to create an ever-changing visual symphony. »
Aube – Architectural concrete sculptures on facades,
Montpellier – France 2019.
After producing monumental works commissioned by the company Helenis, Karine Detcheverry returned to her training as an architect. She has created huge frescoes in relief that challenge our relationship with the mobility of matter and light. These relief paintings play on the reflection of light through the interplay of shadows, playing with the codes of figuration and abstraction.
This artistic approach invites us to engage in an emotional and intellectual dialogue, encouraging us to explore the subtle nuances between perception and reality. Far more than mere representations, these frescoes become portals to a world where light and matter intermingle to create an ever-changing visual symphony. The artist transcends the conventional limits of visual creation by combining technical ingenuity with innovative vision. Precision-modelled reliefs emerge like landscapes in constant metamorphosis, capturing the fleeting essence of light as it plays with shapes to sublimate them.
